Scholarships and Special Needs
The Scholarship and Special Needs Fund (SSNF) is a non-profit foundation created by the Kansas City Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club in 1986 to provide financial assistance up to $1000 per award to deserving Pi Phis in two ways:
- Active collegians in good standings from chapters in the Collegiate Region 5 - University of Kansas, Kansas State University, University of Missouri and Drury College.
- Alumnae residing in one of the counties comprising the greater Kansas City area, defined as Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas and Jackson, Clay, Platte and Cass counties in Missouri.
Since 1986, the Fund has awarded and distributed over $133,000 to deserving collegian and alumnae Pi Phis in our area. All funding for the SSNF comes from the KC Alumnae Club through individual donations by its members and contributions from the Club as determined by the Executive Board.
